I really like this burner I have seasoned it now and had good fires also cooked many casseroles on it we have a small room and it heats it well it is small and the grate is high so big logs wont fit I don't mind as I just put the axe throgh the bigger logs a lot of mine are seasoned branches anyway I would recommend this burner as it looks good has the removable rings on top that are useful for frying or other types of cooking that need intense heat I cooked a prawn curry on the top without removing the rings in 20 mins warms beans in 10 mins used a cast iron casserole dish and cast iron skillet also used my bog standard pans and they work well too the grate can be removed for more log space inside the burner but it needs a bit of help with draw then i have the door ajar a fraction to get the flames going when I don't have the grate in and once its well lit it runs well with the grate on the floor of the burner.

Yesterday my Ladybird Stove was delivered and is currently being Seasoned with small fires as per the instructions. I would like to say what a magnificent little stove this is, it is perfect in every way, the quality and workmanship is of the highest standard and is very beautiful to look at within my Log Cabin Office.
