Print Description

The logger is a versatile outdoor heater / burner and barbeque in one that breaks down into six individual pieces, (plus flue), to make it transportable. Only a couple of screws to assemble - the other parts simply place together. For semi-permanent use, the parts can be fire cemented together if required. It comes with a removable hotplate and a half griddle / half grill to cook on. Kettle and pot as showing in the photographs are NOT included - neither are the fish on the grill !
Perfect as a portable camping stove, barbeque or patio heater. Popular for use in 'Yurts', to both heat their living space and cook with. A great fun item. Perfect for wood or solid fuel.
If being placed on decking or a similar combustable surface, the logger will need sat on a non combustable base - such as a stone plinth or slabs. The logger needs to be seasoned just like a normal cast iron stove, ie a series of initial small fires and allowing to cool between each one to harden and temper the metal.
