The Hellfire Brimstone is a new concept outdoor cast iron cooking bbq stove unique to Natural Heating.
At first glimpse, it may look a little like an old fashioned indoor stove - but some very quirky and unusal features lie within !
To use as an outdoor heater, you can slot in the fuel retaining bar at the base front of the unit. Burn wood on a bed of ash or sand (to insulate the base) approx 1" / 25mm thick.
Inside the main body, you will find a upright tiered rail system. Position a pair of suppprt wings at one of the three levels, and the centre grate can sit betweem them with or without the fuel retaining bar. I really don't know how best to describe this. Video to come !
At the lowest level with the fuel retaining bar, you could choose to burn smokeless fuel (which requires an air gap underneath). At mid level (without fuel retaining bar), use it as a shelf - for putting a casserole dish on (with low fire / ember) or baked potatoes perhaps wrapped in foil. When in top position (with fuel retaining bar) use with charcoal directly under the top grill.
Instead of a solid top, the Brimstone has two double sided removable plancha cast iron plates hiding a superb cast iron barred cooking grill underneath. This gives a truly universal cooking surface. Grill those burgers, sear those steaks - but you can chose to go half and half too ! Fry some onions or an egg if you fancy on of the plancha plates. To use just as a heater (or with pots / kettle / dutch oven on top), place both plancha plates over the barred grill and you now have a solid top.
Cast iron works like a storage heater. It takes a fair bit of time to heat up, a long time to cool down and this unit will release heat right round. The multi functional Hellfire Brimstone is therefore capeable of doubling up as a patio heater /chiminea
The raised body sits on an extended height base to make cooking easier and more pleasurable.
A pair of extended / slide over side wings are available as an optional extra. This gives somewhere to put plates on whilst cooking. Please note - side wings can get warm / hot when burner has been in use for some time.
Please note that tHellfire Brimstone bbq stove / bbq is purely meant for outdoor heating and cooking and not suitable for indoor use or enclosed area. Do not use upper and lower fire sections at the same time or over heating may occur (either or - not both together...)
*note - the cooking plancha plates and the cast top grill are UNPAINTED. Instead, they have a light coating of plant oil which will burn off during first use and will look different in colour to the rest of the unit. We strongly suggest that you follow cast iron pan seasoning instructions for best results when using these.*

The Hellfire Brimstone is cast iron and therefore WILL rust if left uncovered outdoors. Many people love the patinisation when cast iron goes rusty. To prevent or minimise rusting, covinging with a bbq cover (not included) is advised.
