The web-site will generate an automatic confirmation of your order. This is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. The order may be cancelled at this point without penalty. Shipping And Handling Because of the wide variety of products, we are unable to define carriage charges in advance. We will e-mail you the total invoice value, including carriage, when the items are packed and an accurate carriage charge can be applied. We have provided sample charges in the 'Shipping Charges' page. If you require a carriage cost estimate prior to placing your order, please contact us and we will provide details. The final cost is calculated when the goods are packed, so that we can charge an accurate amount. Charges are based on the actual weight, size of the shipment and delivery postcode. Any extras/surcharges imposed by the carrier due to change of delivery address, upgrade in service, carrier's inability to contact, inaccessibility for delivery, or errors given in delivery address may be passed on to customer. Your order may be cancelled at any time prior to dispatch, without penalty, should the delivery charge be unacceptable. Delivery Availability of goods are generally shown on our website. Unless items are noted as being out of stock, they are generally available although this cannot always be guaranteed. We shall endeavour to dispatch all orders as soon as possible, usually within 3 working days of the consumer’s acceptance of quoted delivery charges. All orders are manually processed, and if any items are out of stock - we do inform the consumer before the order is processed. The order may be cancelled at this point without penalty. If a specific delivery date is required, it is advisable that the consumer should telephone or email prior to ordering to make sure delivery on a specific date is possible. Next working day deliveries are available at a premium depending on the time of day order is received. It is preferable that orders requiring next working day delivery service are placed by phone as our standard dispatch method is 2 > 3 working days by carrier for most of mainland UK, 5 – 7 working day delivery for some parts of Scotland. All our consignments are insured for damage in transit. Proof of damage in transit is required by the insurers. You are legally entitled to time to check for damage at the time of receipt, so the carrier must give you time to do this. In the event of consignment damage, the carrier's delivery line MUST be signed as 'DAMAGED', and Goods signed for as 'DAMAGED' will be replaced by us. Damage cannot be claimed if signed as being received as in good condition. If circumstances are such that you are unable to check on receipt, it is recommended to sign 'NOT CHECKED'. 'Not checked' is not proof of transit damage nor a guarantee of replacement of a damaged item, but will be replaced at our or our carrier's insurer's discretion if reported to us as soon as reasonably possible.
